The Moon

By  J
September 20, 2010  Tonight the moon is about 1/6 or 1/5 gone. Right now it is covered by a cloud and I can't see it, but I saw it earlier. It was yellow- white and you could see all the craters.
September 21, 2010  Tonight the moon is full. It's shining and very brightly. It looks somewhat like a pearl.  It's beautiful.
September 22, 2010  Tonight there's a harvest moon, the first in twenty years. Jupiter is very bright. It's closer than it's been since 1963. The sky is very black. The moon is very white.
September 23, 2010  Tonight the moon is still a harvest moon. It's not as bright. The sky is a light black.
September 24, 2010  Tonight the moon is orange and full. Every time I look up, it's further behind thick, black clouds.
September 28, 2010  Tonight the moon there is no moon. The sky is purple-black. There are a few shining stars.
